I've got a couple of awards!

Wow! I've just received a couple of awards from Toby the Guide Dog in Training, and they're awesome!  First up is the Happy 101 Award.

The rules for this award are simple: You have to post up the image on your blog. List 10 things that make you happy. Do one of those things. Send this award to 10 of your friends that make you happy.

Well that's easy enough! Here are my 10 things:
1) Sniffing smelly socks
2) Getting some wind in my face during car rides
3) Cuddling up with my Momma
4) Chasing my Pops around the coffee table

I miss Aunt Mainey

During the weekend, Aunt Mainey packed her bags and went to a place called the "airport" and she hasn't been back for a few days. I keep going into her room thinking she's going to be there, but either she's hiding from me or she's not around. I think she's not around.

Momma and Pops told me that she's gone back to school and she'll be back again at the end of the year, so I'll look forward to that.

Hurry up and come home, Aunt Mainey! In the meantime, I guess I'll just keep trying to summon you back with Golden Offerings in your room. After all, you're the only member of the family to have stepped on my poop so far.

Momma's big jog!

Earlier tonight, I waited and waited with Pops for my nightly car ride to the train station to fetch Momma home. I mean, the time was right, and I kept hearing the usual sound from Pops' phone that usually signals the time to go get Momma, but we never left. Pops didn't even reach for his car keys. Then later, I found out why we didn't head out.

Momma had embarked (Pops taught me this new word!) on her big run - all the way back from her workplace to home! And she managed to do it too! It meant that I didn't get to go on my car ride with Pops, but still I'm really proud of Momma.

She says she's going to do this once a week. I'm not sure why... I'd really rather just nap instead. Oh well, there's one bonus out of missing out on my car ride though... Momma comes home with smelly socks! I love those smelly socks!
