The Beagle from down the road just taught me a new rule: If some food falls onto the floor and it's not claimed by any humans within 5 seconds, then it's considered dog-snacks!
Sonic, I don't know that Beagle so I'm going to express myself freely. Five seconds is too long. Forget his advice. The correct rule is: the instant it hits the floor. Twink!
Hi, Sonic! The Beagle from down the road is right... but I agree with our friends... 5 seconds is a lot of time! One second is enough for me! Kisses and hugs Lorenza
I'm a cute and cuddly little Silky/Maltese puppy dog, and I like smelly socks! I live with my humans, Drew and Jo, in sunny Singapore, and I love them very very much!
They named me after the videogame hedgehog because they said I make them feel the same joy they felt when they first played the game.

Ha - you made our Mom burst out laughing - nice new interpretation of the 5 second rule. Not sure it would even make it to 5 seconds here.
ReplyDeleteWoos, Phantom and Thunder
Too true! Although sometimes you has to be quicker than that!
ReplyDeleteOoooh - I have a one second rule cause I am extra quick to move when there's food around!! Cheers, Patsy
ReplyDeleteYou really wait 5 seconds? WoW! I say once it hits the floor it is fair game!
ReplyDeleteHi Sonic,
ReplyDeleteDid you say 5 seconds? Uh oh... it usually doesn't last that long here. Waaaaah
Hope you are feeling better with the tummy problem.

FIVE seconds? Our rule is the humans have to be faster. And they rarely are.
ReplyDeleteSonic, I don't know that Beagle so I'm going to express myself freely. Five seconds is too long. Forget his advice. The correct rule is: the instant it hits the floor.
